Thieu Riemen is a Dutch artist-photographer based in the South of The Netherlands. Originally he was educated as a painter at Academie voor Beeldende Vorming Tilburg (Academy of Visual Arts) and art historian at Leiden University. His photography develops from an interest in the landscapes in the South of the Netherlands. These landscapes have changed enormously in recent decades. In this respect it is important to note that Riemen is driven essentially by an emotional involvement with place and rather than by an attempt to gain some exact knowledge about changes that have occurred.

Ugo is a Portuguese self-taught photographer, based in the Netherlands. Born in 1975, in a coastal city in southern Portugal, Portimão, he is currently living in Amsterdam. His work mirrors a universe of manifold daily observations, either with more poetic tones, or more cinematographic trails. For more than a decade he worked as a bookseller but, despite the power of words, images have always been his main way of telling stories. The enormous passion for poetry that shaped him all along was the key element that would later open doors to different ways to capture and perceive the everyday commonplaces.

Alessandro Cinque is a photojournalist currently based in Lima. His work delves into mining’s devastating impact on indigenous communities and their lands. Alessandro has especially been documenting environmental contamination and public health concerns among the communities of Campesinos living along Peru’s mining corridor.
