Henry Tyson is an English artist living in Costa Rica by way of Spain. Working mostly in large format owing to its pensive intentionality, and its capacity as a tool to intimately connect with subjects in momentary escapes from time – His work ranges from classical, investigative documentary, to more contemporary lyrical narratives, frequently mixing the two. Placing a great emphasis on the natural world, and our interactions with it, Tyson explores the human condition, looking through the lenses of both memory, and culture, as we search for meaning in our lives, and purpose in our place. He’s had work in several small publications, both individually and collaboratively – the most recent of which was Signals by the publisher Another Earth in 2022.
