The first online platform dedicated to the exchange, sale, and promotion of photographic and video art thanks to Blockchain Technology, uncontaminated.co is constantly evolving to stay up to date with the times. Over the past six months, we have recruited over 50 artists, spanning from every type of genre, from fashion to documentary, to reportage to conceptual, landscape, street photography and so on…our selection includes both emerging, established, and notorious international artists currently active and part of an ever-changing market.
We focused on headhunting fine art photographers from around the world, giving our platform the primate for a high standard in quality in the NFT sphere, separating it from other platforms which deal with digital art in general. Furthermore, the fact that all our artists are verified beforehand, through a specific checking system, is a guarantee for future collectors that they will receive unique works of art from true artists.
Thanks to NFT technology, the works of art which will be sold and traded on the marketplace are certified through the unique identifier that records ownership of a digital asset on the Blockchain, a public register, traceable and accessible by both collectors and artists. This technology is ‘a means to an end’, in other words, an extremely efficient way to promote art, similarly to the traditional art system but making it much simpler to deal with and make transactions.
The fact is, we put collectors directly into contact with artists without intermediaries, in an ‘uncontaminated’ space. Artists establish a first sale price on the marketplace, then the bid begins and registered collectors can start bidding just like in a traditional auction house. Once the purchase is made, they can resell the work of art as they are in effect the proprietors of the certified token. This is also a substantial advantage for the artist who can make a profit after each successive sale thanks to the royalties attached to the work of art.
Over the past six months, we have seen the explosion of NFTs in all spheres from furniture, to videos, to fashion, digital art, memes, Twitter, etc..in other words, NFTs are here to stay and thanks to the birth of Meta they will become an ever-present part of the digital ecosystem we deal with.
