Fashion & Documentary photographer/director from the East of England. Charlie was born & raised in a town on the very edge of the UK known as Great Yarmouth. He was given an old 35mm camera from his father at the young age of 13. Since this day Charlie has always taken photographs of his friends & his hometown. Having learned everything by intuition & curiosity, his style reflects the innocence & warmth of growing up on the coast of Norfolk. To this day, all of Charlie’s work is shot on film as he believes taking photographs should not be rushed but taken in good time & should rely on feeling rather than technicals. Charlie is currently working on a project involving his hometown consisting of a mix of photographs & short films portraying his own nostalgia for the 90’s/00’s dance & music culture in his hometown, titled ‘Greatest Yarmouth’, of which will be released and exhibited in good time.
