Miguel Winograd is a Colombian photographer. After studying Latin American history and embarking on several other digressions, he completed the Documentary Photography program at ICP in New York. He is interested in exploring the relationship between people and their environment, and visual narratives of social conflict. Sometimes, he prefers to make portraits of trees. He works generally in analog, gelatin silver processes. His work has been exhibited in New York, Bogotá, Mexico City, and Berlin and published in different media, including The New York Times and The New Republic.
